The best business card tip I received this weekend came from my newest Twitter friend @bonmotgirl.
I had ordered my business card and the promo card for my novel separately at different times (due to a lack of foresight on my part.) Next time I’ll do as Pam suggested:
Get a folding card, one half business contact info, half promo card. Lesson learned. Thanks for the idea Pam!

The only thing you have to be careful about is not ordering too many so when your promo is done you aren’t left with a ton of cards.
My husband runs Guru Digital Arts College and he has a folding business card that has his contact info on one half and blanks for contact info on the other half. When he meets potential students he tears the card in half (perforated), they fill in their contact info so he can add them to the mailing list and gives them the half with his contact info on it! Brilliant!
Pam
That is brilliant. Thanks!
