It’s one of my life regrets that I went to journalism school. I should have been in film school! Margaret Dunlap has a great take on the surprising benefits of these programs.

I – too – have the same regret. Journalism school?? What the HELL was I thinking? My highschool yearbook doesn’t list “Journalist” as my preferred career. It lists “Filmmaker”.
It’s kind of astonishing to me, too, Chris. I guess I thought it was something for Americans to do. Meanwhile, I worked at a video store since I was 13, consumed two movis a day for years and lived and breathed Hollywood. I failed to dream big enough. I’m finally dreaming bigger now. Hope it’s not too late. I’m taking better care of myself now to eke out more time to start again.
