When I teach my writing and publishing classes, I often get students who tell me they've always wanted to become a writer. Thanks for helping me spread the word on what to look for when selecting an editor.
Of course, writing and editing and publishing are all human endeavors, so there will be mistakes made, but we can strive to avoid them and finding the right editor for your project is a good first step.

Will try. Too many wriers are trying to get away without using an editor. They’re headed for trouble and probably years of frustration as a result.
